Morley College London is a prestigious adult education institution with campuses in Waterloo, Chelsea, North Kensington, and Stockwell. The college offers a wide range of arts, higher education, short courses, and essential skills training, making education accessible to learners of all backgrounds.
To improve the student enrollment process and course management, we developed an integrated and automated digital system that seamlessly connects the college’s website with its student management system (UNIT-E), allowing for real-time course updates and a seamless checkout experience.
Our solution involved a custom WordPress Multisite setup, using WooCommerce, API integrations, and Gravity Forms to create a smooth, efficient, and automated enrollment system.
Through custom API development, automation, and multisite architecture, Morley College now has a scalable, user-friendly, and efficient course enrollment system.

These challenges required a well-structured architecture and seamless API connectivity to ensure an error-free and optimized student enrollment experience.
To deliver a scalable, high-performing, and fully automated online enrollment system, we implemented the following solutions:
Students can browse courses, select their preferred option, and complete an enrollment form. After submission, they proceed to a custom checkout page, where payments are processed via WooCommerce before finalizing enrollment.
A scheduled cron job ensures that course data is fetched and updated from UNIT-E, keeping the website synchronized with the latest offerings.
Upon successful payment, student data is automatically pushed to UNIT-E for internal records and processing. The system also manages subscriptions for applicable courses.
The multisite structure allows the main site to focus on marketing while a separate site manages course listings and enrollments, improving organization and performance.
The WooCommerce Subscription plugin was integrated, allowing students to enroll in recurring courses with automated payments and renewals.
